Pincio
A splendid public park designed by Valadier between 1809 and 1814, Pincio is situated on the hill bearing the same name. It is accessible from the Piazza del Popolo via two twisting, climbing roads.
To the northeast it is bordered by the park of the Villa Borghese (see chart) and to the southeast by the private gardens of the Villa Medici. |
