Monopoli: cathedral dating from 1107, one of the most remarkable examples of Baroque in Puglia; the former Benedictine abbey of Santo Stefano, today a farm.
Egnatia: the ruins, acropolis, forum with large stone slabs, ampitheatre, remains of shops, some tombs and traces of what were ancient roads. Fasano: safari-park of more than 80 000 square metres, home to almost 1000 animals (from monkeys to lions), all roamingfree and posing for visitors and cameras; the visit is particularly suited to families with children.
Ostuni: the cathedral with an excellent facade.
Locorotondo: 14th century, ogival church known as "La greca" (the Greek).
Alberobello: exstremely famus trulli and the trulli-supreme; along the ascending road lined with trulli the womem work at "tombolo".
Noci: mother church built for Charles of Anjou, with a lovely portal.
Putignano: one kilometre from the town towards Turi, a cave, in the shape of a trullo discovered by accident in 1931.
Castellana Grotte: splendid caves.
